The second purpose was to keep a large influx of kids into Taos Valley. In that is was successful. I can tell you about the making and distribution of the film. rivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03408918766599433214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5641398182926491003.post-18432971808318469772013-09-05T19:14:08.424-04:002013-09-05T19:14:08.424-04:00Mr. Till--

It was in bad condition just a few years ago when I learned someone had a copy, apparently broken up into sections which were deteriorating from improper handling. I did hear that one of the people who have a copy was hoping to restore it and release it on DVD, but I'm unaware that that ever happened, probably due to lack of funds.

By the way, I have another post in which the film and The Family are mentioned, "Cheerleaders of the Revolution," 31 Oct. 2009 (http://rickontheater.blogspot.com/2009/10/cheerleaders-of-revolution.html). It won't help answer your questions, but you might find it interesting.

~RickRickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164037407475532693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5641398182926491003.post-89674994830176858372013-09-04T20:02:18.690-04:002013-09-04T20:02:18.690-04:00Having read about the "Taos Family" in t...Having read about the "Taos Family" in the books "Armed Love," "Communes USA," and "Lost and Found" as well as the 1970 "Rolling Stone" "Acid Cowboys" article, I would love to find a copy of the "Peace, Love, Two Hours: Taos 1970" film. Has anyone a clue on if such a copy exists? Also, does anyone know whatever became of the remarkable "Taos Family"?
